After receiving some questions in private messages and emails, and realizing how my silence could be misconstrued as tacit approval, I’ve decided to publicly announce that Pentakis and I have parted ways with Draven Star. Her career has recently gone back down a path that we simply can’t support or be involved with on a personal or professional level. To be clear, no future Disney-related photos or videos featuring Draven are produced in conjunction with Bamboo Forest Publishing, and are absolutely not endorsed by us. However, we do wish her the best in life, and will always look back fondly on the great times we shared together.

Update: For anyone who read Draven’s own statement, my only response is that it’s sad that she felt the need to lie about so many things when the truth would have been simpler and just as sufficient for her purposes. Again, I don’t want to air anyone’s dirty laundry in public, but I will respond to questions via email or PMs, within reason.
Sorry to here about the split. From the outside, it looked like you truly enjoyed each others company. Best of luck to her. Sorry again.
Thanks. We definitely did enjoy each others company. It’s a real shame.
Well, if she is Snow White, perhaps future images can be host to the next chronological Disney princess, which would be Cinderella. Time to make a blonde friend. Half kidding, but it’s too bad to hear.. she’s pretty much the icon of DSoD. I can’t imagine what she would do that’s so dark… but I can’t help but think of a certain character named Lisa who is back on “the dust.” I hope Blaine McKinnon can save her!
Agreed on all points. If I could write a different ending to the story I would. But for better or worse, people’s actions can’t be controlled like characters in a book….
I hope that the disagreement lies beyond the simple fact that she has decided to return to the adult video industry. Because, for me at least, a career in that field should not result in complete disassociation—especially when it seems like on the covers you guys were going for that “sexy” and controversial side of the Disney Parks. As long as there is nothing pornographic being posted on this blog I think people would have been OK with it. Then again, I really don’t know anything about what happened behind the scenes, so excuse me if this comment comes across as rude or anything. I will continue to read and follow this site either way.
No, I think we could have dealt with that and stayed friends, although we still would have stopped business relations out of courtesy to my current/future authors, who might not be so liberal or have such liberal fans. We couldn’t have people thinking that Bamboo Forest was involved with her new Snow White hardcore shoot, for example.
Unfortunately, as you surmised, there were personal reasons behind the split which I’d rather not get into publicly.
But thanks a bunch for sticking with us, though, and for your continued support!
